Personality:

Shoya is warm hearted, helpful, brave, but is silent and sensitive. She also has a thirst for fighting, and cares for her big brother Lars. She also loves rollerskating.

Background:

When Shoya was 4, her mother, a single mother who works very hard, and brother, Lars, left Sweden to live in Japan, sending her to live with her aunt.  Although Shoya hasn't heard from them in a long time, Lars often sent money to help his family back home. Shoya's father, who walked out on her when she was at an early age, is unknown to her, though he was only there for the first few years of her life, as she knows very little of him. Her mother finally returned to Sweden three years later after she had passed away.

One day, while Shoya was heading home from a rollerskating competition, two unknown people had attacked her. Shoya defended herself and managed to escape. The same thing had occurred the other day, but this time, she defeated them. After the fight, Shoya began to wonder if she wanted to mix rollerskating with her fighting prowess, and she was driven to fight even more after having watched the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. After gathering enough funds to catch a flight to Japan, Shoya hopes to compete in the next tournament to see her beloved brother again.
