Liu, Tao, Jackie, and Lei

*Liu's ghost appears* Liu: Hello, Lei's daughter.

Jackie: ............................ *jaw drops*

Bailong: That's my dead father!

Jackie: Okay, I think I'm high...

Bailong: You're not. He's really a ghost.

Liu: He is right. Where is Lei anyway?

Lei: *bangs door down off its hinges* WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!  WHAT'S GOING ON?  Oh Hi, Liu. *waves*

Liu: Lei? It's been so long. I was killed by G-Corporation!

Tao: That's my dead father, Lei!

Lei: I was almost killed by G-Corporation, too!  You know what else?  A man named Ian Olsdal who kidnapped Jamie Cassella, tried to kill me, too!

Liu: You too? It's a wonderful thing that my son Tao is here to take the evildoers down. Isn't that right?

Tao: Yes, father.

Lei: *nods* I would say the same about my daughter, but my son, not so much... *nervous chuckle* *whisper* He works as a bouncer at a strip club...

Tao and Liu: Really?

Lei: Yeah.  The only job that would hire him... People don't hire Wanrei because he's blind.

Tao: *laughs* Blind! That's pretty funny, Mr. Lei!

Lei: *frowns* It's not funny.  I'm serious.  He's blind.

Tao: *stops laughing* I feel sorry for him then.

Lei: He was in a tragic accident when he was little and lost his eyesight...

Tao: Whoa...I think Zakk told me about that...

Lei: Then you must be close to him.  Wanrei never tells people he's blind unless he trusts them...

Tao: He trusts me, so he told me he's blind.

Lei: I see...

Tao: Now do you believe me? I'm not molesting Jackie! We're just friends whose fathers are friends also!

Lei: *chuckles at Tao* You?  Molest my daughter? *chuckling* You're kidding right?

Tao: I am not getting anyone pregnant. Not even Jackie.

Liu: He is right. I always told him. "Patience is a virtue."

Tao: Besides, we're only friends. She told me we have to wait until we're older.

Lei: Oh really?

Tao: Yeah, really. *glare*

Lei: I was under the impression Jackie didn't like boys.

Tao: *turns to Jackie* Is it true?

Jackie: *nods* Yes.  But you're different.  You're not AS stupid as most boys are, but you are only a friend.

Tao: Really?

Jackie: Uh... yeah!

Tao: So, Lei. I guess that makes us even?

Lei: Even? *laughing* Trying to get back at me for keeping you away from my daughter?

Tao: NO!  I just want you to trust me. To know that I will never do such a terrible thing...like molesting your daughter.

Lei: People change.

Tao: Not me...

Lei: I want to think so, but how am I supposed to know?

Tao: Know what?

Lei: Know that you won't change?  Know that you won't betray me?  Know that you don't have ulterior motives?  I can't read people's minds!  Yes, you're Liu's son, but that doesn't mean you're the same person...

Tao: Even though I'm still a laidback guy on the inside, I'm a very serious individual on the inside. Like my father, I would never betray you.

Lei: I want to believe those words... but it takes more than that to convince me.

Tao: Me and my father's feud against the G-Corp relates to yours! How's that?

Lei: Last time I let someone in... *sighs turning his head to the side* Forget it.  I'm not traveling down that same path.  I'm not gonna make the same mistake twice.

Tao: Me too. I never did a good job in trying to protect her.... And I will not make the same mistake again.

Alece: *randomly comes in and whacks Lei's cheek with her shoe* YOU LET ME IN!  YOU TRUSTED ME!  I TRUSTED YOU!  WE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS!

Lei: *rubs cheek* Yeah, Alece, you're different.

Tao: What's that woman doing here?

Jackie: *whispers to Tao* That gwai por, is my future step-mother...

Tao: Really?

Jackie: Yes... Hate her... *sighs*

Tao: Why do you hate her, Jackie?

Jackie: DO YOU NOT SEE WHY? SHE'S JUST SO... UGH! She's annoying!  She's a bitch!  She makes me wear dresses! SHE'S SO SUBMISSIVE!  I HATE HER!

Tao: I think you should watch your language around them.
